Manic depression is a severe mood condition marked by extreme mood swings, mania (emotional highs), and melancholia (depression).
Euphoria, sleeplessness, hallucinations, psychosis, grandiose visions, or paranoid anger are all symptoms of mania. Meanwhile, extreme depression, lack of interest in doing some exercise, low energy, and prolonged sleepiness accompany depressive episodes. These mood swings, which may occur many times a year or infrequently, may have a negative impact on a person’s life because they make them unable to think clearly.
