Chondrome Patella is a condition of the knee that smoothes and wears the articular cartilage behind the knee. Now bones rub each other and cause pain and friction. It is also known as the knee of the runner. Due to overwork of the knee as is the case for sportive people and older adults due to arthritis, this cartilage deterioration happens.
Strenuous activity and bending knees make the pain much more difficult for longer periods. Resting alone might not contribute to relieving pain. When rubbing together the knee and the thighbone (femur), grinding sensation and pain are severe. It is important to improve knee alignment to treat pain.
