The following warning signs that you suffer from food addiction:

  • You consume a large amount of food in a short period of time.

  • You have a tendency to conceal the amount of food you consume.

  • You purchase and store excess food that is well in excess of your real needs.

  • You have begun to gain weight. This isn’t the case in all situations, however. Even if you have a diet problem, you may be underweight or have a normal body mass index.
