Hai, I’ve been found with calcium deficiency. Does having calcium supplements help me regain calcium or how will the diet help me in this?
In my opinion yes…
Calcium is important for maintaining healthy bones and preventing health problems including arthritis and osteoporosis. Magnesium plays a major role in the proper absorption of calcium by the body. The ratio between these two minerals will tackle disease prevention, such as cardiovascular complications, heart and blood pressure disease, and more. For most people’s needs the desired ratio is equal quantities of calcium and magnesium. Complex health conditions will ensure our body is far from being lacking in nutrients. However, it is best to first tackle diet deficiency.
If you ever lack, then you certainly need calcium and magnesium supplements. They will help you overcome your shortcomings and help you live a happier and healthier life.
These days, most people face calcium shortages, because people don’t add them to their regular diets.A good source of calcium are foods such as raw milk, kale, yogurt, broccoli, watercress, cheese, okra, and almonds.Try with food or you can go for the supplements to overcome the deficiencies and lead a healthy life as well.
Calcium supplements, including pills, capsules, chews, liquids, and powders, are available in several ways. When you have difficulty swallowing pills you may want a calcium supplement that is chewable or liquid. To be successful our body must be able to absorb the calcium.
All types of calcium supplements are better absorbed at mealtimes when administered in low doses (500 mg or less).
Typically speaking, dietary calcium is healthy but more is not always better and excessive calcium does not offer additional protection for the bones. When you are taking calcium supplements and consuming foods fortified with calcium, you can get more calcium than you know.
Check food and supplement labels to see how much total calcium you get a day, and if you are meeting the RDA but not reaching the prescribed upper limit.
And if you are taking calcium supplements, be sure to tell your doctor.
